Lenovo has launched its first multimode tablet under the ambassadorship of famous Hollywood celebrity Ashton Kutcher with brand name of Yoga, a tablet that comes with its own hinged stand.

Launching on Android 4.2.2, it comes with an interface that's been slightly tweaked by Lenovo. Internally you'll find a 1.2GHz MTK quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM. There's 16GB of internal memory, along with a microSD card slot for expansion. The tablet comes with a 5-megapixel camera, with a front-facing 1.6-megapixel snapper for video calling.

Lenovo is touting three ways of using the tablet: hold mode, tilt mode and finally stand mode helped by a cylindrical handle.

Behind the handle lies a mini stand which can be used to put tablet in a standing position making it possible for the user to watch videos without holding the tablet. Same stand can be used to slide the tablet down into a tilt mode where it can be used for fast and easy typing purposes as well.

There are 2 models of these Yoga tablets, 8-inch and 10-inch costing $449 and $549 respectively. It is also said that the battery is going to last for 18-hours after charged once. Both models offer a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. The Lenovo Yoga Tablet will be launching across Europe in November.
